The Loughrea musicians have released their long-awaited single ‘The Wall’, marking their first release of 2022.
Galway based indie-rock band The Rosecaps have released their latest single 'The Wall'.
Debuting more than a year after the band’s premiere EP, Before You Grab Your Cigar, ‘The Wall’ marks the band’s second ever single release.
Capturing the brit-pop essence of Pulp, ‘The Wall’ features strong vocals, a catchy melody, powerful drum beats, and excellent lyrics. Recorded in JAM Studios, County Meath and produced by Martin Quinn, 'The Wall' shows a strong professionalism from this young band, who've created a distinctive sound for themselves after such a band-life. If this is only the start for the young band, Hot Press is intrigued to see where they'll go from here.
The band describe the song as a depiction of “the modern clubbing scene and socialising on nights out.”
Consisting of Daniel O’Malley, Emmet Feerick, and Shane Fahy, The Rosecaps hail from Loughrea, County Galway. Writing music together since 2019, the band have already amassed Irish success. With their debut EP garnering over 40,000 streams, the trio have already played noteworthy performances including opening for Chasing Abbey at The Boatyard in 2022, and opening for Wild Youth at Limerick’s Riverfest later in the year.

With a steady stream of gigs in the Galway area, we’re hopeful this indie-rock outfit will take on the rest of the Emerald Isle sometime soon.
