Tipperary-born Healy will fill in for the show's usual host, Muireann O'Connell, hosting alongside Martin King on Thursday evening and Ray Foley on Friday evening.

Healy has an accomplished career in music and fashion, but has yet to dip her toe into TV presenting.

Speaking about her upcoming hosting gig she said, "I'm so excited about my guest presenting role on TV3's The Six O'Clock Show! I'm a big fan of the show and had a blast when I appeared as a guest on the Six Sofa - but I'm looking forward to asking the questions this time around."
