Singer Imelda May will open the exhibition, with performances from Liam O Maonlai and Larry Beau.
Victoria Mary Clarke is set to premiere her first solo art exhibition at the City Assembly House in Dublin. ‘Angels of the Trea Collective’ will run from Friday November 22 to Tuesday November 26, and features a series of (channelled) paintings and prints. The exhibition will be opened by singer Imelda May, and Liam O Maonlai and Larry Beau will perform.
The writer, broadcaster, designer, and wife of the late Shane MacGowan has had a lifelong interest in spirituality. In 2009 she published a memoir about her conversations with angels, called Angel in Disguise.
Her upcoming exhibition, curated by New York-born photographer Ishmael Claxton, is a collection of 22 acrylic and ink artworks, depicting a collective of angels significant to Victoria’s personal spiritual and healing journey. Each piece is accompanied by a written message.
According to Victoria: “These paintings hold immense personal significance for me. They were a positive energy source of strength and comfort during Shane’s illness, and again when he died.

“The angels are powerful, benevolent beings with distinct personalities and purposes. They are meant to be shared, and I hope by spreading their beneficial vibrations everywhere, they will offer solace and joy to all who encounter them. Shane always really wanted me to have an exhibition of the angels, and I promised him that I would."
The artist was trained over a number of years at the School of the Living Light in the UK, where she studied meditation, energy healing, and ‘channelling’: communication with angels expressed verbally and through the forms of painting, prose, and lyrics.
In 2019, Victoria designed scarves and accessories based on her angel art, which she has since sold across the world, and which have been worn by the likes of Johnny Depp, Bruce Springsteen, and Imelda May. US First Lady Jill Biden also purchased one of the creator’s angel beanies.
