I Will Not Wait’ marks Klubber Lang's second release since teaming up with Irish independent label FIFA Records.
Dublin alternative rock outfit Klubber Lang have returned with blistering new single ‘I Will Not Wait’.
Fast-paced with an undeniable groove that works brilliantly with their trademark hard-edged guitar riffs; McGoldrick’s unique vocal delivery gives ‘I Will Not Wait’ an almost primordial murkiness.
The track, which landed on September 17th, fuses energetic mesh of grunge and punk and easily acts as the perfect follow up to Klubber Lang's previous release on FIFA, ‘Sleep Well’.
Hot Press are delighted to premiere the track's black-and-white video curated Danny Butcher, featuring interspersed historical clips from the archives. Incorporating the track itself as a meteor hurling itself towards earth, the sci-fi themed dystopian clip adds to the song's heavy, industrial soundscape.
‘I Will Not Wait’ is the first in a series of Klubber Lang singles with FIFA that will receive a physical release later in the year on limited edition cassette. 'There, There’ and ‘Not My Day’ added ample justification for why the outfit are being dubbed heavy hitters on the Irish music scene.

The ‘Klubber Lang’ name might be new to some, but the band’s pedigree is note-worthy. Somewhat of a '90s supergroup, Klubber Lang are made up of Revelino guitarist Ciaran Tallon, ex-(sic) bass player Ciaran McGoldrick on vocals and bass, ex-Mexican Pets drummer Fin O’Leary and producer Ronan McHugh on keyboards.
Last October – 26 years to the week since the original release date and the same day as John Lennon’s 80th birthday – Irish band Revelino re-issued their eponymous debut album on vinyl. The album was initially released in 1994, with a sold-out debut show in the legendary Baggot Inn. Revelino received rave reviews, and in April 1995 they released 'Don’t Lead Me Down', which went on to feature in two film soundtracks.
