'Paraphernalia' is undoubtedly one of Pastiche's most captivating singles yet - fully embodying her unique, unashamed pop soundscape.
Hot Press are delighted to premiere the brand new video for one of the most exciting Irish pop acts of recent memory, 22-year-old Dublin native Pastiche.
Combining elements of electronic and dark pop, 'Paraphernalia' is packed with attitude and empowerment.
Pastiche's previous two songs, 'Heaven' and debut single 'Chasing Down The Fame', established the pop sensation as a serious force to be reckoned with on the Irish scene.
'Paraphernalia' is a full-on dark pop fantasy banger full of energy and badass bass lines. Perfect for summer, this track is about longing for those wild nights out that we all deeply miss during this turbulent time. Sonically and lyrically, this track demands your attention; much like Pastiche herself. Her explosive brand of electro-pop features driving synths, energetic drums, and powerful vocals.
The visuals for Pastiche's third single feature the rising pop artist dancing with a male partner on a rooftop, before clips of the musician performing seductively inside a car are interspersed. Mixing nightlife energy and that feeling of an alter-ego after dark with daytime dance energy, the eclectic beat and infectiously catchy melody work perfectly in harmony with the addictive music video.

Off the back of her Hot Press Lockdown Sessions' Y&E series performance, Pastiche recently announced her first headline show upstairs at Whelan’s Dublin on November 11th, 2021. Tickets flew out the door, and the show has since sold out.
The exciting musician was the runner-up in the Hot Press 'Now We're Talking' songwriting competition back in 2019, before releasing her debut track. Pastiche's love of performing started in stage school at the age of four, where she developed a love of musical theatre and practiced singing, tap dancing, jazz and modern contemporary dance. When the time came to make a decision about a career, Pastiche wasted no time and enrolled in Dublin's BIMM Institute, where she studied Vocal Performance.
