WATCH: A creepy trailer for Stephen King's 'The Mist' TV series has been released.
You might not want to go outside for a while after watching this.
Stephen King's classic horror story of 'The Mist' is one of his darkest and most intense tales of all. It tells the story of a mysterious mist that descends upon a small town, bringing with it horrendous and bloodthirsty creatures. The residents of the town take shelter, but begin to descend into madness themselves.
The novella has already been adapted for the big screen in 2007, but a television series could go into a far deeper re-imaging of the complex and gory tale.

The series premieres on Spike TV on June 22.
