While not a trailer, its the first look at the follow-up to 2013 original
Are you desperate to pilot giant humanoid robot and fight mammoth Kajus in the midst of a skyscraper laden- city landscape? Well chances are you wont get the opportunity any time soon but the next best thing comes in the form of a new 'enlistment' video from the makers of Pacific Rim:Uprising
The 1 minute clip is narrated by an automated, AI sounding voice that tells us the "Jaeger" is the pinnacle of human invention" over some Eno-like score while close ups of the new mechs are shown to us like it's a sleek ad for an overpriced volvo. Eventually star John Boyega(Star Wars:The Force Awakens) shows up to tell us to join on all the fun.
Pacific Rim:Uprising takes place 10 years since the battle of the beach from the first film. The Jaeger programme has become a worldwide defense force keeping what lurks within the oceans depths at bay. But one assumes the Kaju wiill back, or else..you know....there wouldnt be much a movie.
