WATCH: Star Trek: Discovery is released on Netflix with a new Klingon trailer
Launched in all Netflix territories (excluding the US and Canada), the streaming service has celebrated to release of the new installation in the sci-fi series by bringing out a trailer in the fictional language, Klingon.
Also on offer will be the choice to watch the new fifteen episodes with Klingon subtitles.
The series, which is set ten years prior to the original series follows a "never seen before era that shaped Federation history."
Starring Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead) as First Officer Michael Burnham, Discovery looks at the voyages of Starfleet as they encounter "new ships, worlds, and villains as the threat of war looms."
Star Trek, one of the most iconic and influential global television franchises, returns to television 50 years after it first premiered. The new series will feature a new ship, new characters and new missions, while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.
Starting Today, episodes will premiere on Netflix at 8am (Irish Time) every Monday, following the US episode broadcast on CBS.
