“I have no father; I was brought to life by Zeus,” Diana (Gal Gadot) states, explaining her heritage to the American pilot (Chris Pine).

Diana is part of a hidden amazon tribe and raised as a fighting machine. When an American soldier crashes, she sets out to save him and learns of a great war fought in the outer world. Against the will of her mother, the queen of the Amazons, Diana leaves the island to stop the war.

The movie is set to release in UK cinemas June 1 and in the U.S. June 2.
