At two minutes, this trailer stretches the definition of "teaser."
Hollywood nostalgia marketing has been primarily focussed on 80s movies and TV shows, and now the 90s will get its turn. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers is best remembered as a cheesy, campy romp where teenagers with attitude, played by actors in their twenties, fought the forces of evil. That premise has remained true over its twenty-plus-year lifespan, with dozens of iterations of rangers going up against ham-fisted villains.
This movie is based off the original Power Rangers series, though it's worth noting that the show itself is recobbled from footage of the Japanese Super Sentai series, which long predates Power Rangers. The new movie eschews the usual camp, instead going for a "gritty, realistic" take that seems to borrow some story elements from the film Chronicle.

So, the question becomes, will you be saying, "Go, go," or, "No, no"? The film will have its initial release in the US on 24 March, 2017, with a UK release presumed to soon follow.
