The teaser shows the Harry Potter star taking the role of gangster Charlie Cavendish.
Most people just remember Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise. Now he shows his other side and goes all gangster for the TV spin-off of the Guy Richie movie Snatch (2000).
The original movie was a large successful crime comedy movie directed and written by Guy Richie, which featured an ensemble cast including Brad Pitt, Benicio del Toro and Jason Statham.
Along with Rupert Grint, playing the “frustratingly chaotic” gangster, the new spin-off series will also star Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick and Skins actor Luke Pasqualino. Lucien Laviscount, Juliet Aubrey, Phoebe Dynevor and Dougray Scott are completing the key cast. Grint also takes the role of an executive producer.
The synopsis reads: ‘A group of up-and-coming hustlers stumble upon a truck-load of stolen gold bullion are suddenly thrust into the high-stakes world of organized crime.’
