The clip sees former US Vice President Dick Cheney signing a waterboard kit
Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen (of Borat and Ali G fame) recently teased his new Trump-themed series. Now we have the first glimpse of footage in a short clip the actor posted to Twitter and confirmation of the show's title Who is America?.
A caption reads: "Imagine Sacha Baron Cohen had been undercover secretly filming a new show for a year..." Then, viewers are treated to the comedian in character ask a seemingly unaware Dick Cheney to sign a waterboard kit.

Odd but funny, the clip seems to suggest Cohen returning to his undercover, improvised roots after his stints with scripted comedies such as The Dictator and Grimsby.

The seven-part series will air first on US Network Showtime on July 15 before it's Irish premiere, July 16 on Channel 4 at 10pm.
According to Showtime, the show will 'explore the diverse individuals, from the infamous to the unknown across the political and cultural spectrum, who populate the unique nation.'
Speaking about the series, Showtime CEO and president David Nevins said in a statement: “Sacha is a comedic genius who shocks you with his audacity, bravery and inventiveness. He is the premier provocateur of our time, but not for the sake of ‘gotcha’ moments. Behind the elaborate setup is a genuine quest for the truth about people, places and politics."
With America as it is now, there's no doubt the comedian will be stuck for material.
