It won’t hit cinemas until October next year, but a new teaser trailer for ‘Blade Runner 2049’ is already getting fans of the original Harrison Ford sci-fi movie excited.
The highly anticipated ‘Blade Runner’ sequel is set 30 years after the events of the first film, which was released in 1982. In 'Blade Runner 2049', a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling) unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. As the teaser trailer shows, K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), who reprises his iconic role, as a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
“Replicants are like any other machine — they’re either a benefit or a hazard,” Harrison Ford says in the trailer. “If they’re a benefit, it’s not my problem.”
