The Japanese PM appeared at the closing ceremony of the olympic games dressed as an Italian plumber
Japan has a rich and long history full of remarkable cultural artefacts and traditions. So naturally they chose the worlds most famous video game character to represent them at the olympic games.
Watch as a cinematic shows Mario jumping down a pipe that sends him hurling through the Earth's core before arriving in Brazil and spontaneously transforming into the head of the Japanese government, Shinzō Abe.
