Based on Emmet Kirwan's play of the same name, Dublin OldSchool looks set to light up Irish cinema this summer.
Kirwan, who rose to fame for his heart-rending spoken word poems such as 'Just Sayin' and 'Heartbreak', plays the main role in this film about dance music, drugs and Dublin culture.
The film follows an aspiring DJ, named Jason, as he tries to navigate Dublin’s rave scene and the prevalence of drugs.
Jason is forces to confront elements from his past, when he comes across his homeless brother Daniel, a heroin addict who he hasn’t seen in years.
