Watch: Trailer for The Killing of a Sacred Deer starring Colin Farell
Ireland's own Barry Keoghan also makes up the cast.
The trailer for Cannes favorite The Killing of a Sacred Deer was released today and it looks set to be a bone chiller. The film won the best screenplay award at the festival.
Colin Farrell reunites with The Lobster director Yorgos Lanthimos as he stars as Stephen Murphy, a surgeon who forms an unconformable, familial bond with a teenage boy. Barry Keoghan, who was seen recently in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk is playing the boy in question.
The Psychological horror also stars Nicole Kidman as Steven's wife and mother of their two kids. The trailer does that thing a lot of trailers do nowadays, byhave a a character sing a creepy low key version of a hit pop song(This time round it's Ellie Goulding's 'Lights').
