Watch: trailer for new Netflix film, What Happened to Monday
Another in the latest wave of Netflix series and films will be coming to the streaming site this month.
Netflix has revealed the trailer for a futuristic thriller, What Happened to Monday, starring Noomi Rapace who played Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish adaptations of the popular Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series.
The dystopian sci-fi flick takes place in a world where every family is allowed to have only one child — a rule strictly supervised by the Child Allotment Bureau. The Bureau is helmed by Nicolette Cayman, played by Glenn Close. Rapace leads the film, playing seven sisters all by herself. The septuplets have survived to adulthood against all odds by taking the identity of a single person and only leaving their apartment on the day of the week that matches their name. Trouble (and lots of action scenes) ensue when Monday does not come home one day.
Netflix will release the film sometime later this month.
