Irish trad group We Banjo 3 have just released a new single 'Don't Let me Down' with a specially-produced accompanying video, in aid of Pieta House for the prevention of suicide, depression and self-harm.
The video was produced, directed and shot in Dublin and features Irish actors Lawrence Falconer, Toni O’Rourke as well as Soky the Sock Monster from RTE’s The Den.
All proceeds from the sale of the single in the month of November and December of 2018 will be donated to the Irish suicide prevention organization, Pieta House.
'Haven', the band's fourth studio recording and the follow up to String Theory, was released on July 27, 2018.

'Haven' has received rave reviews and substantial airplay on Americana radio, non-commercial radio and Celtic specialty shows.
Since the release, the album has spent three weeks in the #1 position in the US Billboard's Bluegrass chart.
In mid-October it was awarded “Best Folk Album” of 2018 at the RTE Radio 1 Folk Awards.
Pieta House opened its doors in 2006 in Lucan, County Dublin, and since that day they have seen and helped over 30,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm.
They have established 12 centres across Ireland. They support people and communities in crisis by providing freely accessible, professional services to all.
The band’s involvement with Pieta House is a deeply personal one. 'Don’t Me Down’ was inspired by the struggles of their singer David Howley’s personal journey through anxiety and depression.
It is at its core a love song to your self and speaks to the heart of mental health. Speaking to Hot Press, David said: "Playing this song live to over 400,00 people this year has been a truly transformational experience; hearing real stories of mental health and recovery at the CD signing table and being afforded an opportunity to connect to people at a really human level has meant a lot to us.

"This is our way to give back.” The band also donated a portion of its merchandise profits to Pieta House West in Tuam last Christmas."
