This week's Late Late Show lineup includes MEP Mairead McGuinness.
The guests for this Friday’s Late Late Show have been announced, with Mairead McGuinness, Vice President of the European Parliament, leading the lineup.
Having narrowly survived a vote of no-confidence by a margin of 325 to 306 last Tuesday, Theresa May’s government remains on shaky ground. Now in her third term as a member of the European Parliament, McGuinness is set to provide insight on Britain’s Brexit deadlock during this week’s show.
Actor Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones) will also make an appearance this Friday. The Dublin native will join host Ryan Tubridy to discuss his recent trip to South Sudan as well as the final season of Game of Thrones, set to premiere on April 14.
The episode will also feature multiple folk musicians, including the beloved Mary Black, who is set to play the Olympia Theatre in September. Other musicians include Phelim Drew, Aoife Scott and Fiachna Ó Braonáin who will join Black in talking about their music in light of the search for Ireland’s Favourite Folk Song.

This week’s music-heavy episode will also include a slew of performers in anticipation of TradFest, Ireland’s largest festival of traditional music to take place next week. Among them are vocalists Paddy Casey, Eleanor McEvoy and Sibéal Ní Chasaide.
On top of it all, comedians Bridget and Eamon (Jennifer Zamparelli and Bernard O'Shea) are set to perform.
The Late Late Show will air on RTÉ One, Friday, January 18 at 9.35pm.
