The budget airline's route will run from June until October.
Canadian airline WestJet is set to resume direct flights to Nova Scotia, Canada from Dublin, starting from 13 June, 2024.
The 6-hour flight lands in the province’s capital Halifax, which the airline described as “a vibrant seaport city that offers unique architecture, museums, a bustling harbour and world-class restaurants serving delicious seafood.”
Nova Scotia is renowned for its natural beauty and more specifically, its extraordinary coastline – which is over 13,000km in length, making it an ideal location for whale watching. As well as its top notch beaches, foodies will find some of the best locally sourced produce on the planet, with Novia Scotia being famous for lobsters in particular.

Cape Breton is often pipped as Canada’s equivalent of our very own ‘Wild Atlantic Way’. The island's Cabot Trail is considered one of the most picturesque driving routes on the planet, offering stunning views and connecting eight different communities, each with their own unique backgrounds.
Nova Scotia's neighbouring provinces include New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, each with their own rich histories and sceneries shaped by the ocean.
WestJet will conclude the direct route from Dublin to Halifax on 13 October 13th, for more information click here.
