Wild Youth, Luz, JC Stewart and emie nathan have been announced as special guests on Lewis Capaldi's forthcoming Irish tour, with dates at Dublin, Cork and Belfast.

JC Stewart, Wild Youth and Luz will perform at Cork's Musgrave Park on Friday, June 24 while emie nathan will replace JC Stewart on Saturday, June 25th and Ormeau Park, Belfast on Sunday, June 26.

Irish artist Luz (pronounced "Luce") was recently nominated for an Ivor Novello Rising Star Award, following a string of beautiful singles released in 2020 and 2021. The Offaly native's previous singles 'Permanent +1', 'the author', 'counting houses', 'christmas morning', 'i'm lonely', 'i'll be fine' and more captured the imagination of audiences worldwide.

Wild Youth are also set to support Westlife on their upcoming tour. Two years ago, Wild Youth graced the cover of Hot Press’s ‘Hot For 2019’ special issue. Coinciding with the release of their debut EP, The Last Goodbye, it was their first cover story – capturing a band on the cusp of a major breakthrough.

Since that interview, their high-energy, risk-taking approach to pop has rapidly catapulted Conor O’Donohoe and David Whelan – alongside their bandmates Ed Porter and Callum McAdam, to heights even we couldn’t predict at the time – selling out the Olympia Theatre, supporting Westlife at Croke Park, playing a string of high-profile festival appearances, and clocking up Spotify streams in their millions.

With two million monthly listeners on Spotify, an appearance on Good Morning America, and co-writing credits for Lewis Capaldi under his belt, Stewart has rapidly become one of Ireland's most exciting pop exports of recent memory.

He has continued to build his growing momentum during the nation's lockdowns – with the release of his new single 'I Need You To Hate Me', 'Loud', 'Break My Heart' and 'Don't Say You Love Me'.

Pop newcomer emie nathan released her debut EP, white light, on November 26th last year - following debut single 'noman'. A seven-track offering, the EP picks up the baton of nathan’s crystalline, soaring, Maggie Rogers-esque pop and fleshes it out, offering deeper insights into her internal world than ever.

Scottish singer-songwriter Capaldi is set to delight fans by returning to Ireland. First coming on scene in 2017, he caused a stir with debut single 'Bruises' and his record breaking 2019 album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent. The album was longest-reining chart-topping debut in 15 years on Irish shores.
