The Wicklow trio's sophomore album 'Awake You Lie’ was released on February 26th, 2021.
Wyvern Lingo's livestream in celebration of their second LP Awake You Lie is set to be rebroadcast tonight from 8pm.
The acclaimed folk/pop outfit hosted a world exclusive live stream concert back in February, featuring an exclusive post-show interview between the Bray group and MayKay on the Hot Press YouTube channel.
Back by popular demand, Wyvern Lingo are giving fans who missed the show first time round an opportunity to tune in. Fans who have already purchased tickets can watch the stream again at no extra charge tonight.
This performance of the album includes a collaboration with Bray visual artist 1iing Heaney. 1iing brings elements of the digital artwork she designed for the album into the physical world, creating an entirely unique live stream experience. Her art encapsulates the beautiful, vivid world that Awake You Lie emulates.
“This album is so much about us comforting each other," Wyvern Lingo said of the album.

"It’s about being in your late-twenties, when all the pieces are starting to settle into place and you worry whether or not you’ve made the right moves."
“A recurring image during this album writing process was light, the lack thereof, and wanting to see things more clearly, for ourselves and others. We called the album Awake You Lie because it evokes an image of night-time when someone should be sleeping but can’t, due to restlessness or worry. Things are always clearer in the light of day."
Recorded in Berlin's JRS studios pre-COVID, the critically acclaimed work landed almost two years to the day after their widely acclaimed, Choice Music Prize-nominated, debut album.
The band was formed in Bray in a teenage world of self-discovery, soundtracked by the '60s/'70s classic rock and singer-songwriter music collections of their parents, and the '90s/'00s R&B of their childhood.
Wyvern Lingo also made waves in February after appearing on the cover of Hot Press. Read the full cover interview by Hot Press' Lucy O'Toole here.
"Awake You Lie – a reference to late-night worrying – is their self-professed grown-up album, and while it certainly is that, the good news is that it refines what made the first record so great," Pat Carty wrote in his review of the project earlier this year.
A discounted livestream ticket of €8 is included with every Bundled Ticket purchase, while regular tickets start at €12. Check out the full list of offers and more information here.
