John Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono is to appear in a new animated movie to be made by Wes Anderson, the film director announced last night.
In a video clip uploaded onto Youtube, Wes Anderson appears alongside actor Edward Norton to “officially announce” his new project entitled, ‘Isle of Dogs’, which is being made next year in England.
It will also star Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Jeff Goldblum, Harvey Keitel, Greta Gerwig, Bob Balaban, F. Murray Abraham, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama, Courtney B. Vance and Koyu Rankin.
Wes Anderson also reveals in the video that he’s offering film buffs “some pretty nice prizes”, including a chance to appear as a voice of “probably another dog in the movie” as part of a charity auction.
Proceeds from Wes’s raffle will go to the Film Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by film director Martin Scorsese, which was set-up to protect and preserve motion picture history.
