"We always play with jeans and dark or white clothes... Sometimes I wear high heels because it gives good percussion"
How would you describe your style? Pretty simple – jeans, t-shirts and runners. Sometimes people say we look exotic because the stage always gives us some light – and maybe because we’re Mexican.
What are your personal preferences? I like black and sometimes I wear high heels because it gives good percussion. But it depends on the gig. If it’s a theatre, we kind of dress up a little bit more. If we play in a pub then it’s very informal and if we play in a theatre Rodrigo wears some kind of shirt. But we always play with jeans and dark or white clothes.
Is it important to project a certain image? I don’t think so actually. I think it’s a matter of taste. If you like to go out and be like Madonna or whatever that’s fine, and I have no problem with that. But I think it has nothing to do with music. If you are a good musician, no matter if you’re naked, you’re a good musician.
Where do you shop? Little shops where I like to go and look for something different. I don’t really go to second-hand shops though because I have no time to look for specific things. But I like that shop in George’s Arcade, inside there’s a little shop and they sell t-shirts for girls.

Your most cherished piece of clothing or accessory? I found a t-shirt really for me. It had a girl on it with an unfriendly face, really unfriendly, and it says ‘I wish you weren’t here!’
Who is the most stylish musician in the world, living or dead? Diana Krall. Because she’s so elegant in her music and the way she performs. Also she dresses really properly and on all the covers of her CDs she’s quite sexy and she has beautiful legs and she wears high heels. She is the most glamorous.
