Cinema For Gaza – a group of film journalists and filmmakers – have announced a major auction in support of Medical Aid for Palestinians. Stars from around the world are offering up their services as part of the auction (which opens on at 9am on April 2), including Kildare comedian and actor Aisling Bea and Cork actor Alison Oliver.
As part of the auction, fans will get to bid for a Zoom Q&A with Aisling Bea – famed for her stand-up comedy, as well as the acclaimed series This Way Up. The 30-minute chat will be specifically geared towards fans of Taskmaster, which Aisling took part in in 2017 – with the star offering up behind-the-scenes secrets of the iconic show over a cup of tea.
You'll also get a chance to bid for a 'restorative drink on Zoom' with Alison Oliver – the star of Conversations with Friends, and one of the most buzzed-about films of 2023, Saltburn.
Both auctions start at £100.
