Irish comedian Aisling Bea secured the help of a couple of famous faces to announce that she is expecting her first child.

Among the celebrities featured as part of the comedian's pregnancy announcement were: US singer Sheryl Crow, comedian Seth Herzog, actor Paul Rudd and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend and NFL player Travis Kelce.

Bea is expecting her first child with London-based composer, musician and producer Jack Freeman, with whom she has been in a relationship with for two years.

As part of the pregnancy announcement on Instagram, Bea shared photos of herself with a face drawn on her “bump” posing alongside US stars Rudd, Herzog and American football player Kelce.

Sharing the news the Irish comedian said: "Dignity Intact. Got pregnant so I could try & put something beside Paul Rudd’s face to make him look older".

She went on to thank the Paul Rudd, Seth Herzog, American Football player Travis Kelce and Sheryl Crow who she described as "an angel".

The comedian thanked her celebrity friends "for helping me show off my bump in the most dignified & classy way possible".

Bea also joked saying: “Just to note if you use sharpie pen on your skin, it will be there for about two days. Just if you are weighing up what a commitment to an idea is worth. Gentle dermatitis is the answer.”

Bea later confirmed: “Yes I am pregnant, this time it’s not a joke about bread” – referencing a social media post in 2021 which saw the comedian share a photograph of her bloated stomach which led to pregnancy speculation.
