The BBC has announced that the filming of Alan Partridge's upcoming documentary series has begun.
The six-part mockumentary marks the return of comedian Steve Coogan in his role as the unfortunate interviewer. It will follow Partridge as he returns to Norfolk following a year in working Saudi Arabia, and his struggles to reintegrate.
And Did Those Feet... is directed, presented, producted ad written by Steve Coogan.
The official logline reads: “One of the first – if not the first – documentary to address the issue of mental wellness, the six-part series follows the revered and beloved broadcaster on a quest to understand what’s going on, with Britain’s minds and his own.
“It’s a show that makes a statement that will create shockwaves: ‘I’m Alan Partridge, and I’m not OK.’”

Partridge debuted in 1991 on the BBC Radio 4 programme On The Hour and has since then become one of the UK’s most enduring satirical characters, known as a tactless and arrogant broadcaster.
Partridge added: "I'm delighted to follow the Daily Mail's exclusive coverage of filming and their gallery of paparazzi-style images with my own press release more or less confirming the details they've announced. All best, Alan."
