The Irish actor will star alongside Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny and Daniel Craig.
Fleabag and All of Us Strangers actor Andrew Scott is set to feature in the third instalment of the Knives Out series Wake Up Dead Man: a Knives Out Mystery.
Variety Magazine confirmed that Scott will join the previously announced Josh O’Connor, who rose to international fame earlier this year in the hit film Challengers, and Priscilla's Cailee Spaeny in the upcoming film.
Daniel Craig, who previously appeared alongside Scott in the 2015 Bond film Spectre, will also return to play detective Benoit Blanc.
Rian Johnson returns to director's seat, teasing that the film will depict Blanc’s "most dangerous case yet".
“I love everything about whodunits, but one of the things I love most is how malleable the genre is," he said on social media. "There’s a whole tonal spectrum from Carr to Christie, and getting to explore that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc movies.”
The first Knives Out film, was released by Lionsgate in 2019 and starred Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana de Armas, Chris Evans and Toni Collet, grossing a total of $312 million (€288 million).

Netflix later bought the rights for the franchise, subsequently releasing Glass Onion. The second instalment starred Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Janelle Monáe, and Dave Bautista and grossed $15 million (€14 million) during its week-long run in three of America’s largest cinema chains: AMC Theaters, Regal Cinemas, and Cinemark.
Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery is currently scheduled for release in 2025.
