Anya Taylor-Joy and Robert Eggers previously worked together in 2015 for 'The Witch'.
Anya Taylor-Joy has revealed in a new interview with Los Angeles Times that she will be working with Robert Eggers in his upcoming remake of the classic vampire silent film Nosferatu. Rumours first circulated in 2015 regarding a remake of the 1979 iteration of the original 1922 film.
Taylor-Joy first worked with Eggers on his 2015 breakout directional of The Witch and she is set to star in his upcoming film The Northman. This Viking thriller, which was partly filmed in Belfast, follows a man looking to avenge his father's death and will feature Alexander Skarsgard, Nicole Kidman, and Willem Dafoe.
Nosferatu is the latest in Taylor-Joy's ever-growing list of upcoming projects which include dark comedy The Menu, the prequel of George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, and thriller Laughter In The Dark alongside The Queen's Gambit director Scott Frank. In a recent 'Actors on Actors' conversation with Josh O'Connor, hosted by Variety, she announced that she would be filming these back to back until 2023.

The Emmy nominated actress won her first Golden Globe this year for her performance of Beth Harmon in the Netflix original The Queen's Gambit. She can next be seen opposite Matt Smith in Edgar Wright’s upcoming flick Last Night In Soho, which is due to be released on October 29.
