In the run-up to its premiere on Apple TV+ on November 13, the trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Bad Sisters has been unveiled.
The second season will once again follow the lives of the Garvey sisters: Eva (Sharon Horgan, who also serves as executive producer), Grace (Anne-Marie Duff), Ursula (Eva Birthistle), Bibi (Sarah Greene), and Becka (Eve Hewson).
"Two years after the “accidental death” of Grace’s abusive husband, the close-knit Garvey sisters may have moved on, but when past truths resurface, the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust," the official description reads.
Season 2 will also feature Fiona Shaw, Owen McDonnell, Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward, Michael Smiley, Saise Quinn, Daryl McCormack, Yasmine Akram, Jonjo O’Neill, Peter Claffey, Deirdre Mullins, Lorcan Cranitch, Liz Fitzgibbon and Justine Mitchell.
The first season of Bad Sisters scored BAFTA Television Awards for Best Drama Series and Best Supporting Actress (for Anne-Marie Duff). The series also received a Peabody Award, as well as four Emmy Award nominations.
