Everything from Lagerfield’s classic monochromatic uniform, to his beloved cat, was paid tribute to during last night’s events.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky appeared on the Met’s steps last night, with the ‘Diamonds’ singer enveloped in a cascade of white flowers, and the Harlem-born rapper donned in a tartan kilt, bedazzled jeans and classic Lagerfeld leather gloves.

Her look was completed with a chic-styled silver-toned long bob and a black leather hairband.
Boygenius member Phoebe Bridgers was in attendance at last night’s Met, sporting a stunning black, pearl-adorned dress, reminiscent of the singer’s signature skeleton motif.

Accompanied by her musical brother Finneas, Eilish sported a beautiful gothic look by Irish fashion designer Simone Rocha. Meanwhile, Alexa Chung also wore Irish- a bespoke outfit by Dublin designer Róisín Pierce.
