The upcoming star of Marvel's Eternals will be in director Martin McDonagh's fourth feature film.
Barry Keoghan has confirmed that he has been cast in Martin McDonagh's The Banshees of Inisherin.
While Deadline reported earlier this month that the Dublin native would join Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, and Kerry Condon in the upcoming film, Keoghan has now tweeted a picture of the film's script as confirmation his involvement in the film.

The film will be McDonagh's fourth feature film, following 2008's In Bruges, 2012's Seven Psychopaths, and 2017's Academy Award-winning Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Deadline described The Banshees of Inisherin as a film that "charts the pair of lifelong friends on a remote Irish island who find themselves at an awkward time in their relationship when one of them no longer wants to be friends."
This will not be the first time that Farrell, Gleeson, and McDonagh have worked together. Both actors starred in McDonagh's In Bruges, which resulted in Gleeson's 2008 Golden Globe nomination, McDonagh's Oscar nomination, and Farrell's Golden Globe win.
Later this year, Keoghan is also set to star in Marvel's Eternals.
