All three episodes of OUR LAND will be available to stream on RTÉ player starting tomorrow, March 15th - featuring Nigerian-Irish rapper JyellowL.
A new three part series from creator and director Bobby Zithelo will be land on RTÉ tomorrow, March 15: OUR LAND, featuring Amanda Adé, JYellowL, Choy-Ping Clarke-Ng, Hughie Maughan and more.
Exploring the cultural identity of Ireland, the show follows Zithelo's earlier film This Land, which was the winner of the TRUA award at the 2020's Kerry International Film Festival.
"Irishness has many strands. It’s an ever-evolving idea that’s influenced by fresh views, outlooks and cultures. It’s a celebration of how the country’s past intermingles with its present and future, how languages, food, music and art are not binary but exist in an ever-changing state of flux," commented The Tenth Man, the production company for the film.
"OUR LAND takes a deep dive into what it means to identify as ‘Irish’ today and how immigration shapes our understanding of identity and home."
This will be Zithelo's TV series debut, after releasing three critically acclaimed short documentaries: This Land, Up Next and Down With Jazz.

Amanda Adé is the manager of artist BugzBoni, and host and creative of the Black and Irish podcast, a show that is devoted to highlighting the successes and struggles of the Black and Mixed Race Irish communities.
