The first trailer for the highly anticipated Leonard Bernstein biopic Maestro has been released – ahead of the film's release in cinemas on November 22. It's then set to be released on Netflix on December 20.
Maestro stars Bradley Cooper as legendary composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein, and Carey Mulligan as his wife, actress and activist Felicia Montealegre Bernstein – and is described by Netflix as "a towering and fearless love story chronicling the lifelong relationship" between the pair.
The trailer description goes on to note that Maestro is a "love letter to life and art" and "at its core... an emotionally epic portrayal of family and love."
Cooper also serves as the film's director – having made his directorial debut with 2018's A Star Is Born – while the star-studded list of producers includes Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg.
The film also stars Maya Hawke, Scott Ellis, Miriam Shor, Sarah Silverman, Sam Nivola, Matt Bomer, Josh Hamilton and Alexa Swinton.
