Described as a "love letter to her fans", the film will explore the process behind Charli XCX's last album.
Popstar Charli XCX has announced she will release a new film about the making of her album recorded during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, How I'm Feeling Right Now.
The documentary Charli XCX: Alone Together will be directed by Bradyley&Pablo, best known for making music videos for the likes of Harry Styles and Rosalía and will be released in theatres and on-demand January 28.
As the film initially premiered at SXSW last year, some details are already known about the release.
Although the documentary's primary focus will be how her last album was made, it will also apparently explore the singer's battle with anxiety, unfulfillment, and an on-and-off long-distance relationship with boyfriend Huck Kwong.
"With almost a year of editing over 5000 clips from different cameras and formats condensed into 107 minutes, Charli XCX: Alone Together is a love letter to her fans who are the co-stars of the movie," a description for the movie reads.
"It felt only natural to document myself making this album," Charli XCX told US magazine Variety last year.

"I don't think I've ever made music in such a unique situation: being so logistically far apart from my collaborators, but going through exactly the same thing."
In other Charli XCX, she also recently announced a gig at the 3Olympia Theatre for May 13 to support her upcoming new album Crash.
