CW: This article contains description of emotional coercion and sexual assault. D'Elia was initially accused after the second season of 'You' aired, in which he played a comedian who sexually abuses teenagers.
Comedian Chris D'Elia has been sued for allegedly soliciting nude photos from a 17-year-old girl.
The complaint was filed Tuesday (March 2) in Federal Court in Los Angeles, and alleges that the comedian solicited and received more than 100 explicit images from the girl over several months.
The suit also says that he invited the girl to one of his shows, after which he proceeded to have sex with her. It claims that when he asked her age and she replied that she was still in high school, he said it was "hot". The suit also states that D'Elia continued to emotionally manipulate her by showering her with attention when she agreed to send him explicit photos, and threatening to cut her off if she refused.

The lawsuit accuses D'Elia of violating child sexual abuse imagery and sexual exploitation laws. He was first accused after starring in the second season of You, where he played a comedian who sexually abuses teenage girls.
At the time, D’Elia said he “never knowingly pursued any underage women at any point," while also apologising for any offence he may have caused. He released a YouTube video last month, acknowledging that he "had a problem" and saying that he was in recovery, and "doing the work" to be a better role model.
