Netflix have announced their August releases, and it looks set to be the most binge-worthy month of the summer so far.

Netflix Original TV series Mindhunter is back for a second season (August 16), and sees the Behavioural Science Unit's killer instincts move from theory into action when the FBI joins in a high-profile hunt for a serial child murderer. GLOW  returns with series three (August 9), and finds the Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling kicking off a run of shows in Las Vegas, while power struggles, sexual tension and shifting priorities threaten their bond. Dear White People also presents Volume 3 (August 2), which introduces a charismatic professor who shakes up life on campus, while the students of Winchester embrace new creative challenges and romantic possibilities.

On the film front, Blade Runner 2049 (August 28), the 2017 sequel to the 1982 classic, is landing on the streaming platform, starring Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford. Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 film Psycho (August 16) is also on the way.

Netflix Original Documentary American Factory (August 21) is also out this month. From Academy Award-nominatees Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar, the film takes a deep dive into post-industrial Ohio, where a Chinese billionaire opens a new factory and hires two thousand blue-collar Americans. Early days of hope and optimism give way to setbacks as high-tech China clashes with working-class America. American Factory is the first title from Barack and Michelle Obama's Higher Ground Productions.

Meanwhile, on Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready (August 13) the comedian and Girls Trip star introduces the world to six of her favourite comedians, in a collection of hilarious half-hour stand-up specials.
