In the touching post, Edgar-Jones thanks Paul Mescal for being 'the best pal.'
Daisy Edgar-Jones has shared a Normal People blooper reel on her Instagram, one year after the shoot finished wrapping in Dublin.
The popular BBC show, based on Sally Rooney's novel of the same name, catapulted both Edgar-Jones and her co-star Paul Mescal to immediate fame. The two played star-crossed lovers Marianne and Connell, who weave in and out of each other's romantic lives from secondary school to college.
The show was nominated for four Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Actor in a Limited Series for Mescal, Outstanding Director of a Limited Series for Lenny Abrahamson, Sally Rooney and Alice Birch for Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series and Louise Kiely for Outstanding Casting for a Limited Series.
In the clip, Mescal makes jokes as the two laugh, filming a scene in a car.
"I can’t actually believe it is around a year ago today that we wrapped on NP, and what a year it has been," said Edgar-Jones. Thank you to all the lovely fans of our show, your support means so much to us. Thank you to everyone who made this series what it was and for giving me the most wonderful memories and my best friends. Thank you to [Paul Mescal] for amusing me so much with your Christmas jumper and for being such a brilliant acting partner and best pal."
