Heartbreak and Joni Mitchell
It can't be all smiles and sunshine. That's the great thing about Love Actually, there's (some) depth. Joni Mitchell's track 'Both Sides Now' offers itself to this poignant part of the film. No matter how many times you've seen this film it is utterly impossible not to be moved to tears by Emma Thompson in this scene.
This hilarious Colin Firth moment
Jamie (Colin Firth) proposes to Aureila (Lúcia Moniz) giving us this charming moment between the two characters.

Two words; cue cards. The ultimate gesture made in rom-com history. Every Christmas we answer the door disappointed when actual carol singers arrive.
The Reunion
Red Nose Day 2017 gave us the gift of Love Actually 2, a complete catch up with the cast. Of course some parts had to be updated. Now Billy Mac is shagging the Kardashians, PM David is dancing to 'Hotline Bling' and young Sam is all grown up and marrying Joanna, his first love. Watch the clip below.
