Malahide singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy has announced an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert this week ahead of the release of his sophomore album Sonder.
Fellow Irish star Domhnall Gleeson is also on this week's Colbert line-up, plus Nancy Pelosi, Dr Anthony Fauci, Cate Blanchett and more. Kennedy has been building a massive profile on his current US and Canada tour.

Dermot Kennedy's anticipated forthcoming album Sonder is due for release on 4 November, with Kennedy previewing lead single 'Something to Someone' earlier this year. The track has since amassed almost 30 million streams.

This morning, the Dublin artist also announced a headline show at Marlay Park in Dublin on Friday, 23 June 2023.
The keen busker took to Instagram to announce the news. "Dublin!! My home!!! I'll be playing for you next summer at Marlay Park!!! I cannot wait!! Be quick!! I love you! Tickets go on sale this Friday 7th Oct at 10am local 🇮🇪 💚 presale link in bio!!," he wrote.
Kennedy headlined Electric Picnic in September, where he played to over 70,000 people. The Irish star is one of the biggest and fastest-selling live artists in the country, selling out eight massive gigs in Ireland this year alone.
