In Enchanted, Amy Adams’ character, an animated maiden named Giselle, is transported from the fairytale land of Andalasia to real world of New York City where she meets and falls in love with a lawyer Robert Phillip - played by Patrick Dempsey. The film combined Disney’s classic 2D animation style with live-action, and featured original songs from legends Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz.
The upcoming sequel is set over a decade after the first movie and sees Giselle questioning her happiness with her new life, leading to some drastic changes in both the real world and Andalasia. Giselle moves to the suburb of Monroeville with Robert and their teenage daughter Morgan, where she must juggle the challenges that come with a new home and discover what happily ever after truly means to her and her new family.
Disenchanted filmed in the picturesque villages of Enniskerry, which was turned into a fairytale village, and Greystones in Wicklow over the course of the past few months.
Last week, Adams visited the Book of Kells in Trinity College Dublin with her husband Darren De Gallo during a break from filming, while former Grey's Anatomy actor Dempsey shared many of his Irish adventures on Instagram, including a visit to Dalkey Island.

Co-star Rudolph (Bridesmaids, Saturday Night Live) visited a Dublin restaurant where she left staff a special note and took a sightseeing trip around Howth on Ireland's Eye Ferries with her family. During filming in Ireland, James Marsden of Westworld and Frozen star Idina Menzel were also spotted.
