The Lucasfilm original live-action series is set to premiere its first two episodes on 4th June.
Disney+ has released the first trailer for the new Lucasfilm original TV series Star Wars: The Acolyte, launching with the first two episodes on 4th June, exclusively on Disney+.

The thrilling new live-action series, set long before the events of The Phantom Menace, will tell the story of a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) as he investigates a string of shocking murders, eventually coming up against a lethal warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg).

Created by Leslye Headland and based on the works of George Lucas, the series is set to star Lee Jung-jae and Amandla Stenberg alongside Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

The series will be scored by award-winning composer Michael Abels and directed by Headland, Kogonada, Alex Garcia Lopez and Hanelle Culpepper.
