The screening will be held in Monastery House, near to where Disenchanted is being shot.
A drive-in screening of Enchanted will be held in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow on Sunday June 27th at 4pm. The screening's location is in the vicinity of where the forthcoming sequel, Disenchanted, is currently being shot.
The screening is presented by Classic Drive In Cinema and venue hire proceeds from the event will go towards funding the eagerly awaited Enniskerry playground. Tickets are €27.50 plus a booking fee and can be bought from their website where cinema popcorn and nachos can also be bought in advance of the screening.
“Covid-19 has been a serious blow for the events industry, and we are delighted to be back and having our skilled crews and contractors back working doing what they do best to bring joy and happiness into people’s lives,” Classic Drive In Cinema stated in a press release.
Shooting for Disenchanted began in recent days and caused quite a stir in Enniskerry village, where much of the filming for the multi-million dollar Disney film will take place. Spaces in the village are cordoned off as a strong Garda and security presence shepherded onlookers away from the sets.
The village has been given a Disney makeover with many of the shops renamed with more fairytale appropriate titles like ‘Painting Painting on The Wall,’ ‘Beauty and the Book,’ and ‘Flying Carpet Shoppe.’
