Will Ed Sheeran follow in the footsteps of Adele and Sam Smith?
In the last few weeks, rumours have been swirling around that Ed Sheeran is set to sing the theme song for the next Bond movie No Time To Die. Yesterday, the singer's manager Stuart Camp spoke out about the possibility, telling Music Week that they are "still open to it".
Sheeran's manager revealed that they even met up with the Bond producers in Dublin back in 2017 when director Danny Boyle was still attached to the project. Ed Sheeran played a part in Boyle's latest movie Yesterday.
"There was a close connection there. Obviously they changed directors but we're still open to it, but they're not even having those conversations yet", Camp states.
He also claims that the UK star is most definitely up for it: "Ed asks me [about it] every day, and I say, 'The thing they do last is the music'. Those [stories] that said he's Daniel Craig's favourite act and it's all happening aren't true. It's certainly something he'd want to do though, it's a box that's still to be ticked, for sure."
No Time To Die will be the last Bond film for Daniel Craig who will retire as 007 after the movie comes out. The 25th entry in the Bond franchise will be released on April 3 next year.

Ed Sheeran previously concluded his massive Divide tour that spanned over two years. During his last concert at Ipswich's Chantry Park on Monday, he said that he will take a 18-month break now. However, if he really does the Bond song, the break will probably be a little bit shorter than originally planned.
