The show, about Nixon's presidency, has given no indication about when production will resume.
A new HBO show starring Domhnall Gleeson, Woody Harrelson, Lena Headey and Justin Theroux has halted production amid reports of the directors' "unprofessional" behaviour onset.
HBO is launching a full investigation into The White House Plumbers, after an on-set incident which occurred on August 4 between a member of the props department and director/executive producer David Mandel. According to reports from Deadline, the incident is alleged to have led the entire props department to walk off set.
“HBO has received reports of alleged unprofessional behavior on the set of White House Plumbers,” the network said in a statement to Deadline. “We take very seriously our responsibility to ensure a respectful work environment on all our productions, and we are investigating the matter fully.”

According to the film and television news website, Mandel’s outburst was captioned on audio recording. In it, Mandel is heard using the F-word and threatening the prop master that he will never work again. Sources indicate that this may not be an isolated incident, and notice of the production halt (issued on Thursday in a call sheet) was allegedly given alongside a contact to report onset bullying.
The series is believed to be halfway through filming in Upstate New York, and is based on the Richard Nixon Watergate scandal. As of yet, there is no further information on when filming on the production will resume.
