Aisling Bea starred in 'Living with Yourself' and 'This Way Up' last year.
Irish actors Niamh Algar and Aisling Bea are set to star in the ensemble crime-thriller Sweet Dreams, with writer-director Carl Tibbets describing the show as "Fargo in England".
Joining Algar and Bea are Mia Goth (Suspiria) Billy Howle (Outlaw King), Paapa Essiedu (Gangs Of London) and Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz).
Deadline reports that The Virtues star Algar will play the police chief trying to put a stop to the chaos.
The film "charts a series of unfortunate coincidences that bring the overreaching ambitions of a bunch of petty criminals to a nasty end".
Director Tibbets (Black Mirror, Humans, The Woman in White) hailed his "fantastic cast" for the "action-packed, pitch-black, ensemble crime-thriller".
"Think No Country for Old Men, Fargo in England, and In Bruges and Shallow Grave," he added.

"Funny, dark, violent and heartwarming; it has it all."
Algar last year starred in acclaimed Shane Meadows series The Virtues and has HBO Max series Raised By Wolves and Jason Statham movie Cash Truck on her calendar for release.
Comedian and actress Bea is known for writing and starring in hilarious but heartbreaking Channel 4 series This Way Up and quirky Netflix' Paul Rudd show Living with Yourself.
The plan is to film the new series in the last quarter of 2020.
