John Crowley, the director behind romantic drama Brooklyn, starring Saoirse Ronan, will helm the love story.
Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh are reportedly set to star in romance We Live In Time, with Irish director John Crowley tapped to direct.
The famed actors took the Dolby stage together at this year’s Oscars ceremony as presenters, with fans commenting on their easygoing chemistry.
John Crowley will supposedly helm from a screenplay by playwright Nick Payne, Deadline has reported. Plot details are being kept under wraps, with the project hopefully shooting later this year. StudioCanal will produce with Benedict Cumberbatch banner Sunny March.
Oscar nominee Florence Pugh was in cinemas last year with Don’t Worry Darling and could also be seen in Netflix’s period drama The Wonder, filmed in Ireland. She's currently starring in Zach Braff-directed drama A Good Person opposite Morgan Freeman.

The rest of the year includes Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Dune: Part Two, which bows in October. She will soon begin production on Marvel Studios Thunderbolts, reprising her Black Widow role as Yelena Belova.
Garfield recently earned an Emmy nomination for his role in the series Under the Banner of Heaven, and last year garnered an Oscar nomination for musical theatre drama film Tick…Tick…Boom! He is tied to David Leitch series Hot Air, where he is set to play eccentric entrepreneur Richard Branson.
John Crowley is best known for the films Brooklyn (2015) and his debut feature, Intermission (2003), for which he won an Irish Film and Television Award for Best Director. The comedy drama set in Dublin starred Colin Farrell, Cillian Murphy and Kelly Macdonald, based on a screenplay by playwright Mark O'Rowe.
Additionally, Crowley was Tony nominated for the hugely successful London and Broadway runs of Martin McDonagh's play The Pillowman in 2003 and 2005.
In July 2016, it was announced that Crowley will direct the screen adaptation of Donna Tartt's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel The Goldfinch for Warner Bros. and RatPac Entertainment, starring Ansel Elgort, Oakes Fegley, Aneurin Barnard and Finn Wolfhard.
