It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia stars Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton have decided to turn their fictional bar into some form of reality with a new whiskey called the Four Walls.

The Four Walls is a reference to the name of the bar in the show, which got its riveting name because of the ‘four walls’ of the pub. The whisky was released in the US and is now more widely available by being released in the UK as well.

The spirit was originally released to support bartenders and bars across America while bars were closed during the midsts of the Covid-19 pandemic. The whiskey sale proved to be a success as the product sold out, but now it is being released to UK patrons and continuing the spirit of giving back to bars and pubs.

There are two options for interested customers; the prestige liquor option with a very rare Irish whiskey for true fans of the spirit. The website describes the beauty of the whiskey with “a fantastic cask strength, pot still Irish whiskey, matured for 15 years in bourbon barrels.”

It’s also limited in quantity with only 755 bottles available. All profits will going to bars and pubs that suffered during the pandemic.

The second option is great for bartenders: a blend of an Irish whiskey with Straight Pennsylvania Rye. The press release stated “crafted with bartenders in mind and made to celebrate with fans.”

The Bartender’s Blend is also a more affordable option for people hoping to celebrate the 15th season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia in style. It is also limited edition.

The sixteenth season of It's Always Sunny just wrapped filming last month and sees the return of McElhenney, Howerton and Day along with Danny Devito and Kaitlin Olsen.

It will be released soon, but there has been no official date.

The Four Walls Whiskey can be purchased here for residents of the UK (excluding NI). There is also a competition to win the 15-year-old Four Walls whiskey or tickets to see the actors live in London.
