The Brooklyn director's latest project features Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh.
Oscar nominated and BAFTA-winning Cork director John Crowley’s upcoming film We Live In Time will have its world premiere at the 49th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival.
The news was confirmed by Studiocanal, Sunnymarch, Film4 & A24 who said that the film will screen at the festival on Friday September 6.
The special presentation will take place at The Princess of Wales Theatre.
The film also features a star studded cast in the form of Spiderman star Andrew Garfield and Black Widow's Florence Pugh.
The longline reads: "Almut (played by Florence Pugh) and Tobias (played by Andrew Garfield) who are brought together in a surprise encounter that changes their lives. Through snapshots of their life together - falling for each other, building a home, becoming a family - a difficult truth is revealed that rocks its foundation.
"As they embark on a path challenged by the limits of time, they learn to cherish each moment of the unconventional route their love story has taken, in filmmaker John Crowley’s decade-spanning, deeply moving romance".

The screenplay for We Live In Time was written by Constellations playwright Nick Payne.
Other famous names attached to the project include Benedict Cumberbatch, who is an executive producer, alongside Anna Marsh, Ron Halpern, and Joe Naftalin for Studiocanal. The film is co-financed with Film4.
We Live In Time will arrive in Irish cinemas later this year, although no release date has been specified.
