The announcement comes before the romantic drama film is set to make its world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival this week.
The European premiere of John Crowley's romantic drama We Live In Time will close the official selection of San Sebastian International Film Festival in Spain, playing out of competition. The festival runs from 20-28 September.
Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield star as two people whose lives are forever changed when an incident brings them together. Through vignettes of their life together - falling in love, building a home, becoming a family - a difficult truth is unveiled that rocks its foundation. As they embark on a path challenged by the limits of time, they learn to cherish each moment of their relationship in filmmaker John Crowley's decade-spanning romantic saga.
The film is Cork director Crowley's first film production since his adaptation of Donna Tartt's The Goldfinch premiered in 2019, having also directed the highly-celebrated film starring Saoirse Ronan, 2015's Brooklyn, based on Colm Tobin's eponymous novel.
We Live In Time is set to have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this week, on Friday 6 September.
